Vancouver's 2011 Pride Parade and Festival - Come down to the West End of Vancouver and enjoy the fun!!

Happy Sunshine Vancouverites

Well the month of July is upon us and the Vancouver weather seems to have turned into summer just in time for the many events happening in the West End of Vancouver this summer. With the sunshine and July in the West End comes the Vancouver Pride Parade and Festival which is always a high light to summer time fun in the West End. If you have not experienced the fun and love at the Pride Parade then I suggest that this year you check it out. The Pride Parade itself is at noon on July 31^st, come down to English Bay early as the crowd becomes hundred of thousands as it gets closer to parade time. The parade itself runs from Thurlow down Robson Street where it turn on Denman street and runs all the way down Beach Ave to Bute Street where it ends at the Sunset Beach Pride Festival, which has great bands, art, food and a big beer garden. Come find a spot on the parade route and watch the excitement as hundreds of people and floats filled with colour and joy pass you by in the sunshine.

The Pride Parade is not the only event that is involved with Vancouver’s Pride Parade and Festival, all through July there are many events that you can head to celebrate Vancouver’s Pride community and show your support.
