Hey West Enders
Just wanted to share a great little watering hole that I go to to wet my whistle in the West End of Vancouver. You may pass by this place on your stroll to English Bay or on your walk up Davie Street without even knowing that it is there but the time has come for you to pop in and enjoy a drink and an amazing VIEW. The Bayside Lounge which is located in The Sands Hotel at the corner of Denman Street and Davie Street ( 1755 Davie St Vancouver, BC - (604) 682-1831 ) has been around for many year and still continues to be one of the best spots to go for Happy Hour drinks and to catch a great view of the evening sunset over English Bay.
The Bayside Lounge is a great place to meet up with friends after work, a drink with a date or just a great place to chill out. Everyday between 4pm and 7pm they have happy hour which will always include a drink special and half price appetizers, the food is great with lots of pub food choices. One of my favorite reasons for heading down to The Bayside is to watch the sunset over English Bay, the lounge is nothing but windows all around and this give you a great view of what is happening on busy Davie and Denman, the crowds at English Bay and a full 180 of the sun setting. Check it out.
